For the past few months, I have noticed a trend in my headshot inquiries that looks something like this: “I started a new job and my firm would like me to get a professional headshot that looks similar to their existing team photos (please see link below). Would you be able to take such photos of me with a similar background?” My answer is YES! It is not only a matter of matching the background, but also lighting technique and editing style.
Right now a lot of people still prefer to work remotely from home. This opens up an opportunity to employ new team members nationwide, even globally. It’s understandable that if a company has already established a visual brand on their website and social media, they want to keep it consistent. Looking for a photographer that is skillful in matching lighting and editing style might not be an easy task.
